Are you planning a hen party in 2022?
It’s nearly 2 years since the world’s first confirmed case of Coronavirus. Almost happy birthday COVID-19! I guess time flies when you’re having fun’¦ not. We have been busy during the pandemic, perfecting and improving our amazing offering for Hen Parties in Ireland, the UK and Europe. The good news is, we are still here at the end of the phone or email, ready to help you and your fellow Hens create the best Hen Do ever in 2022!
With vaccines and boosters, positivity levels are increasing in The Foxy Hen HQ and we are very excited for the return of some sort of normality and a gradual return to a more social life. To keep the positive vibes flowing, here are our top 5 reasons to be optimistic for a Hen Party in 2022:
1. Vaccines and boosters are widespread
With vaccination rates in Ireland and the UK still rising and booster jabs now being administered, there is still hope that we won’t have to return to the days of full lockdowns. This gives hen party groups much more flexibility to plan a ‘do’ without worrying too much about not being able to go.
Hope is on the horizon for Hen Parties and a light is beginning to flicker at the end of that pandemic tunnel!
2. The ‘New Normal’ is now normal
New Normal was the buzz term during the first few months of the COVID-19 pandemic. It has become a part of the world’s lexicon. The vast majority of countries around the world have become accustomed to washing their hands frequently, sanitising, wearing face masks and social distancing. Coupled with the vaccines, this bodes well in terms of keeping the dreaded virus at bay and for a hen party in 2022.
3. Togetherness
‘We are all in this together’ has been an important phrase from governments in their bid to encourage a collective effort to tackle the virus. Hens the world over know that togetherness is key to ensuring the Best Hen Do Ever for the bride-to-be. The rest of the world is just late to the ‘togetherness’ party.
Hen Parties know there is no ‘I’ in TEAM and now that everyone else is adopting the same approach, the future is bright for a 2022 hen party.
4. Improved product offering
For a lot of businesses out there who rely on Hen Do’s, unfortunately, they’ve been hit harder than most during the COVID-19 pandemic. With all this unexpected time on their hands, it has given everyone some time to stand back and look at their Hen Party offering.
This can only be a good thing for a hen party in 2022 and means that, as normality returns, they will be back bigger, better and more determined than ever for Hen Do’s to come through their doors again.
5. Living with the virus
It’s probably wishful thinking that the virus will just decide to disappear into thin air tomorrow. Unfortunately, that’s not how it works. Expect plenty of hostelries, activity providers and accommodation providers to have re-aligned their interiors so they can welcome back Hen Do’s in a safe manner in 2022. So, pull up a pew for the virus, they’ll have a Corona Light and Lemon’¦ ba-dum-chish…
Conclusion
We know it’s exhausting, still having to deal with the virus after all this time. We’ve been on that ride with so many groups who have had to postpone weddings and hen parties and it has been heartbreaking. But we’ve also seen so much strength and optimism!
We know the world still isn’t quite back to how it was but there are definite reasons to be optimistic for a hen party in 2022.
